Many clients like new emerging media. But lets be honest, we have all seen 360 video that could have performed just as good in 2D.
As a rule we must let the story come first and then let the medium follow.
The least impactful use of augmented reality is allowing users to place an object in plain sight, or projecting a video onto a surface.
I believe in giving the user an exercise, something that allows the user to be involved and cause an effect. This creates an impactful, remembered experience.
